First-ever AWFS Closets Symposium to
feature Lisa Adams and Sarah Reep
Kicking off a new initiative,
Woodworking Network will produce
a full day Closets & Home Storage
Symposium on Tuesday July 18th the
day prior to the opening of the 2017
AWFS Fair.
Presented by Closets and Organized
Storage magazine, hot-button sessions
for closet designers, builders, and
garage businesses include a ClosetMaid
Pro case study, European design trends,
million dollar closets ideas, marketing
tips for your closets business, trends in
home storage and garage renovation
and more.
The Closets Symposium takes place
at the Las Vegas Convention Center
from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and it focuses
on trending home organization topics
impacting the industry as boomers
downsize and millennials ;nd their ;rst
homes.
Presentations include:
ClosetMaid Pro Case Study Closet-
Maid has been venturing into upscale
laminate and wood closets, working
with home builders to provide full-ser-
vice design and installation. Closet-
Maid dealer Brandon Olson of Closet
Creations Inc., Maryville, Wash., will
present projects done with MN Custom
Homes, including a 14-closet home re-
cently completed on Lake Washington.

Director of Designer Relationships &
Education at Masco Cabinetry teams
with Denise Butchko, Closet Design-
er and Content Marketing Strategist,
Butchko & Co., to share insights and
action items for creating a showroom
that sells and supports your brand.

European Design Trends in Closets

trends in European closet, including
Germany’s Hulsta, whose Multi-Forma
is adaptable to lofts, rehabs, and new
construction, and offered in wood and
lacquered ;nishes.
